Chances are, your living room has been full of heavy news lately. If you’re feeling down, we’ve put together a few ideas that can help lift you up!

Host a Virtual Happy Hour

If you miss having social time beyond Facebook scrolling, host a happy hour! Send a group invite to your friends and family. You can use FaceTime, Zoom or Google Hangouts to gather your favorite crew virtually. Keep the conversations light by getting some inspiration from these conversation starters.

Do a “DEAR” Session

Remember the “Drop Everything And Read” days in elementary school? Well, you may not get to take advantage of the awesome bagel cart rolling by, but you can initiate some quiet time to cozy up and read. It can be hard to feel motivated to open a book with Netflix nearby, but shifting gears away from a screen will do wonders for your nervous system.

Build a Fort

Whether you have kids or are by yourself, building a fort is fun and creates the perfect environment for a movie night. Gather all the pillows, sheets and fluffy things you can find in your house and get building. When you’re satisfied with your creation, go dig up a strand of holiday lights to add a twinkle to your finished fort.

We hope these ideas bring good vibes into your home! Have fun!
